This time it was back to Cavalier to have their experts check and get some advice on a 2009 Toyota with 120,000 miles that I am considering buying. They briefly road tested and checked the car from engine compartment devices, battery, fluids, filters, etc. to steering, suspension, tires & brakes front and rear. It took about an hour at a very reasonable cost. They concluded that the car is in great condition, only needing a manufacturer recommended change of spark plugs (at 120,000mi) and repair of a slightly ozing power steering hose. They also provided a detailed cost estimate of recommended services and answered all my concerns, like discovering that the required spark plugs (iridium & platinum?) cost $40 each. Ouch! I did decide to buy the car and it will be serviced at Cavalier like our other car.

Brought a car in for inspection at 8am. They let it sit there for 7 hours without touching it. Don't waste your time with these people like I did.

Another 5000+ miles have gone by as indicated by the 'Maint. Req' light on the dash. Withe my wife leaving town again in a few days, our Toyota Avalon needed a quick oil change. Your crew was great, scheduled the car the next day and I was out within the hour of arriviing. In addition to just changing the oil, as you likely kow, they also inspected the car overall, tires, fluids, and checked the battery. The battery test showed that a replacement is recommended, but I decided to wait as the car has started fine through the past winter and we're getting into summer weather when a lot less cranking power is needed to start. Hope I was right. Larry, I have been bringing our car to your shop for almost 6 years. I appreciate and have confidence in you and your staff to do it right the first time. See you again in anoter 5000 miles.
